Carolyn loved everyone.
She epitomized all that was good and what stood for doing the right thing.
She always wanted everyone to be happy, healthy and to have what they wanted.
When anyone came into contact with Carolyn, their life was enhanced.
She had friends from all different places - long time friends - and new friends during her illness.
On her 82nd birthday Joy and I took her to dinner and dancing, and I danced with my mother.
All was well.   She was happy about everything.   Nothing to worry about.   Not a complaint on the horizon.
The following Monday she said she wanted to go to the hospital to get a check up.
Just a minor check up.   She protected me from all that was bad and shielded me from anything that may be cause for worry.
She went into the hospital and never walked back into the apartment and never had contact with any of her life long possessions.
She lost everything, except her family and friends who loved her.
The continuous contact and love from her friends and family kept her going during the period of her illness.
The love and contact that poured in helped to give her strength and energy to struggle to stay with us.
She fought hard.   She fought courageously to be with us.
I am proud to be her son.   Mutual love was continuous - every day - every hour - every minute - she was my mommy as she liked to be called. - I was her baby.
Everyone will miss her.   She was everyone's friend.   Everyone will continue to love her.
No one will ever forget.
